Out of the University Grants Commission special funding of rupees One Crore made on the occassion of the International Year for Women we have planned a huge multi-facility Golden Jubilee Womens Hostel inside the college campus. The foundation stone was laid by Professor Sudarsan Ray Choudhuri, Minister of Higher Education, the Government of West Bengal.
